UPTOWN — The actor and comedian known for his hardened demeanor, mustache and love of breakfast food will be performing for free in Uptown this weekend.

Nick Offerman, best known for his role as Ron Swanson on the NBC comedy "Parks and Recreation" (a character memorialized by a West Side eatery's Ron Swanson Burger), is slated to perform Saturday at 3 p.m. with Paper Machete, a weekly variety show held at the Green Mill, 4802 N. Broadway.

The best part? He'll be singing, according to Kim Bellware, who will also be performing at the variety show.

The other performers include Adam Burke, Brad Einstein, Natalie Jose, Bill Larkin and Bellware.
