The Official Trailer for Patty Wetli's Gardening Column: The Garden Awakens

By  Kyla Gardner and Patty Wetli | May 15, 2015 8:18am | Updated on May 15, 2015 10:53am

ALBANY PARK —  Like Han Solo entombed in carbonite, "Hortus in Urbe: Garden in the City" has been frozen these past six months, dormant but prepared to spring back to life with a little help from the force (and the weather).

On Tuesday, the garden awakens.

Follow DNAinfo Chicago's Patty Wetli through another season of urban gardening as she battles beetle larvae, drought, crappy soil and her own stupidity.

Will she be defeated by the evil storm troopers — aka, squirrels — or will she live to harvest a single ear of corn?

Tune in...

Patty Wetli's "Hortus in Urbe: Garden in the City" won a 2014 Lisagor Award for Best Continuing Blog.
