
CHICAGO — A woman was sexually assaulted near the University of Illinois at Chicago Saturday morning, police said.
Around 6:16 a.m., a 21-year-old woman walked into University of Illinois Hospital on Taylor Street and reported that she had been sexually assaulted at some point the night before, said Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago Police spokesman, citing preliminary information.
University officials said the victim was not a student and the incident did not occur on campus.
