WEST LOOP — Chef Stephanie Izard is urging people to ditch their green beer traditions and drink local this Tuesday instead.

In celebration of St. Patrick's Day, Little Goat will host a locally-focused beer dinner Tuesday night. The dinner will pair some of Izard's favorite Chicago-brewed beers with Girl & the Goat-style dishes.

Pairings will include Off Color Scurry's Honey and Molasses Altbier; Solemn Oath's Kidnapped by Vikings IPA; Begyle's Oh Hey! Porter; Local Option's Morning Wood Coffee Amber Ale and a few more brews.

The fun kicks off at 6:30 Tuesday at the West Loop diner, 820 W. Randolph St.

Tickets, now on sale for $75, are available online.
