CHICAGO — Three men were wounded, one critically, in separate shootings on the South Side since Thursday night, police said.

In Pilsen at 11 p.m., a 33-year-old man was sitting in a parked car in the 1700 block of South Jefferson Street when he was approached by a man with a gun who fired multiple shots, striking the 33-year-old multiple times in his face and arm, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital and listed in critical condition, Sedevic said.

According to police the man is a documented gang member.

Most recently two men, 20 and 21, were in the 7200 block of South Lafayette Avenue in Grand Crossing at 12:01 a.mm. when they heard shots and felt pain, Sedevic said

Both men were shot in their shoulders. They drove themselves to Saint Bernard Hospital where they were listed in good condition, Sedevic said.
