ROGERS PARK — Giving Tree Toys, which opened last summer on Clark Street, plans to move to north suburban Lincolnwood, the store announced.

The store — at 7020 N. Clark St. — is hosting a 50 percent-off sale until the end of the month, according to an email sent to customers.

Owner Bridgett Scarborough didn't respond to requests for comment about the move, but the email states the "tentative" plan is to move to Lincolnwood Town Center, a shopping mall in Lincolnwood a couple of miles to the west.

Scarborough said in July her store would carry classic toys, such as puppets, building blocks and puzzles.
