CHICAGO — Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews is looking for your vote.

Toews is featured in a new video - complete with '80s neon, cheese and camp - asking fans to "exercise" their right to vote for him and his teammates for a spot in the 2015 NHL All-Star Game.

In the video, Toews is decked out in a tanktop, tiny shorts and jacked-up socks, campaigning like a Jazzercise fanatic.

He's joined at the end of the video by teammates Patrick Kane, Patrick Sharp, Duncan Keith and Bryan Bickell.

The All-Star Game is Jan. 25 in Columbus, Ohio. Fans can vote online here.

Kane, Toews, Sharp and Marian Hossa have among the top seven votes for forwards. Keith and Brent Seabrook are the top two vote-getters so far for defensemen. Corey Crawford is in the lead for goaltenders. In all, seven Hawks players are in the top 10.

But the Hawks viral video may be taking aim at the league's top vote-getter, Zemgus Girgensons of the Buffalo Sabres. Girgensons, a forward with nine goals and eight assists, appears to be benefiting from a national campaign to get the league's lone Latvian in the All-Star Game.

The NHL uses a Chicago-style voting method: early and often.
