WEST LOOP — This Saturday, artist JC Rivera will transform the exterior cornerstones of two restaurants for Soho House in the West Loop.

Rivera's original art display will be the first in Soho House's new monthly art series, House Graffiti on Green, that will feature artwork from a different local artist every month. The live art installation will take place on the street from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday on the facade of the Pizza East and Chicken Shop building inside Soho House at 113 N. Green St.

Chicken Shop will serve up free "Dirty Burgers" during the display's creation.

Wicker Park-based Rivera is known for his edgy custom toys, digital work, murals and paintings.

The two cornerstones of the Soho House building — one at the north end in front of Pizza East restaurant and one at the south end in front of Chicken Shop — provide a 5-foot by 8-foot "concrete canvas" for the artists’ presentations, according to a Soho House spokesman.

After Rivera, artist The Lie (Jay Turner) will be featured in January, Sentrock in February and Mosher Show in March.
