
NEAR WEST SIDE — Looking for a stocking stuffer that will challenge the recipient to a year-long culinary journey?
A la Card Chicago recently rolled out their 2015 Chicago deck, which includes cards good for $10 off at 52 restaurants across the city.
Priced at $30, the deck comes stacked with deals at eateries in 25 different neighborhoods. The recipient must spend $25 at the restaurant on food to use the gift card, but there are no blackout dates.

Each deck is organized by cuisine, neighborhood and price and features detailed descriptions of the restaurants.
West Loop spots featured in the deck include:

• BellyQ, an Asian barbecue restaurant on Randolph Street
• Cemitas Puebla Fulton Market, featuring Mexican cemitas (sandwiches)
• Embeya, progressive Asian on Randolph Street
• Nellcôte, western Mediterranean inspired by Villa Nellcote along the Cote d'Azur
• RM Champagne Salon, a modern French hideaway on Green Street
• TÊTE Charcuterie, a modern meat emporium in the Meat Packing District
• Urbanbelly, reimagined Asian noodles and dumplings on Randolph Street
Pilsen restaurants include:
• Dusek's, the beer-driven regional American restaurant in Thalia Hall
• Nightwood, seasonal American brunch and dinner on Halsted Street
Other restaurant destinations in the 2015 pack include Carriage House in Wicker Park, Honey Butter Fried Chicken in Avondale, Longman & Eagle in Logan Square, Piccolo Sogno in River West, The Promentory in Hyde Park and Spacca Napoli in Ravenswood.
The gift cards expire at the end of 2015.
The decks can be purchased online or at Whole Foods, J.P. Graziano Grocery in the West Loop, Southport Grocery in Lakeview and Olivia's Market in Bucktown.
A la Card, an Old Town-based business, debuted its first deck in 2008.
