CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man was charged with murder after he fatally stabbed a man Saturday afternoon, police said.
Nehemiah Spencer, of the 6500 block of South Minerva Avenue in Woodlawn was also charged with aggravated battery after the incident, police said.
Around 3 p.m. Saturday, Spencer was in an argument with his girlfriend when she enlisted her uncle and another man, 20, to help her.
When Spencer opened the door to the home, he fatally stabbed the 20-year-old man in the chest and also wounded the 34-year-old uncle of his girlfriend, police said. The uncle was treated at the University of Chicago Hospital, police said.
Spencer is expected to appear in bond court Monday.
