ANDERSONVILLE — Chicago Aquarium and Aquatic Life is closing in Andersonville.

A sign on the storefront window next to a "for rent" sign says "everything must go."

The shop at 5040 N. Clark St. sells freshwater and tropical saltwater fish, other exotic water critters and accessories — but not for long.

The store, which also carries an array of bird baths and statues, will shutter by the end of September, owners said.

Ownership declined Sunday to discuss the reason for the closing or answer further questions.
