ROSCOE VILLAGE — It's BYODB — bring your own dirt bike — to The Garden dirt jumps in Clark Park on Saturday for the bike trails' annual Summer Jam.

Cyclists of all ages and skill levels are invited to compete in the annual pump track time trials. Or just come for the food trucks, raffle prizes and spectating from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Patty Wetli breaks down all the Lincoln Square events this weekend:

If you're new to the sport or this is your first visit to The Garden, here's what you need to know:

How to get there: The Garden — 100 percent built and maintained by volunteers — is at 3400 N. Rockwell St., behind Lane Tech High School. The best place for parking is in Clark Park's small lot, or on Rockwell — do not, repeat, do not, park in DeVry's lot across the street.

What's a pump track? A pump track is a continuous loop of jumps and berms that you ride without pedaling. Registration for the pump track race opens at 10:15 a.m.; the time trial starts at 11 a.m.

If you're not inclined to race, there are also three jump lines at The Garden, which vary in level of difficulty: expert, mainline and medium. The jump lines will be open for riding during the race.

The best place for spectators and photo ops is the main jump line, which offers the clearest sightlines.

Bring cash for raffle tickets, which cost $5 for one ticket or $20 for five. Prizes are being provided by the event's sponsors, including Half Acre, Roscoe Village Cycle, Turin Cycles, Kozy's and Lagunitas.
