
CHICAGO — A 23-year-old man died Sunday after being run over following a fight, police said.
The man, whose name was not released, was in an altercation with another person in the 4100 block of West 26th Street early Saturday morning. The person with whom the man was fighting got into a vehicle, made a u-turn and struck the victim, police said.
The victim was later pronounced dead on the scene at 5:34 a.m., the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said.
The person who ran him over fled the scene, and no one is in custody, police said.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
