PILSEN — The neighborhood's Lowrider Festival — a celebration of those decked out, bouncing cars — kicks off Sunday afternoon with over 200 cars and bikes.
This is the fourth year for the fest — dubbed the "Slow and Low" — which is sponsored by the Chicago Urban Art Society and the Chicago Lowrider Preservation Project.
Cars will be lined up outside 600 W. Cermak Road from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. The fest will have a "car hopping" demo, children's play area, food tents, dance and musical performances, and a screening of "Feat," a Brazilian Lowrider documentary .
Admission is $5, free for kids under 13.
