Forbidden Root Beer Dinner Set for Thursday at City Winery

WEST LOOP — A new Chicago-based brewery with a line of botanic craft beers will host a beer dinner at West Loop music venue City Winery on Thursday. 

Forbidden Root, the country's first botanical brewery, will host an evening of brews with three courses designed by City Winery executive chef Andres Barrera.

Hosted by brewer BJ Pichman and representatives from Forbidden Root, the dinner includes a three-course meal paired with Forbidden Root beer, as well as a surprise collaborated beer creation. Guests will also get the opportunity to speak with the Forbidden Root team.

Tickets are $75 and can be bought here. The doors at City Winery, 1200 W. Randolph St., will open at 6:30 p.m., with dinner being served at 7 p.m.
