PILSEN — Music venue Thalia Hall will host a pop-up festival with music and food alongside beers from Moody Tongue brewery's first beer lineup.
Moody Tongue — which officially began brewing in May at 2136 S. Peoria St. — is a food-focused brewery from owner and former Goose Island brewmaster Jared Rouben.
Rouben will be on hand for Saturday's event, which will feature his beer alongside food pairings from six chefs, including Dusek’s Jared Wentworth, Nightwood's Jason Hammel and Vie's Paul Virant.
Trolleys will be shuttling guests between Moody Tongue Brewery and Thalia Hall, with guests encouraged to tour each facility.
Tickets to the event, at 1807 S. Allport, cost $25 and include the food and beer tasting from 3-6 p.m. Advanced tickets can be bought online at ticketweb.
