CHICAGO — Residents can keep artists from going hungry by snagging $250-a-ticket spots at the Chicago Artists Coalition's Starving Artists Benefit.
The Saturday dinner will pair art installations with edible samplings and mixologists at the coalition's West Loop gallery, 217 N. Carpenter St. Proceeds raised during the event will go to the Chicago Artists Coalition, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
"The fusion of art, food and performance at Starving Artist celebrates CAC's mission of supporting artists working in all disciplines," said Sara Slawnik, the center's interim executive director, according to a news release.
Tickets are available at chicagoartistscoalition.org.
