CHICAGO — Police are warning residents about a rash of burglaries in the Near West Side.
In three separate incidents, burglars entered the front door of apartments in the 1200 block of West Madison Street and took property on May 20. The alert did not detail the exact times of the burglaries but said all three occurred "during the daytime hours."
Residents are reminded to keep their property well lit and report suspicious activity immediately. Anyone with information on the burglaries should call detectives at 312-747-8382.
