CHICAGO — Police are investigating the shooting of a man in Little Village Friday afternoon.
The man, 22, was walking in an alley in the 4100 block of West 25th Place about 2:40 p.m. when someone emerged from an alley firing shots, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a police spokeswoman.
The man was shot in his face and left arm, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, Pacheco said.
Area Central detectives are investigating the shooting, and authorities said the victim is a documented gang member.
