LAKEVIEW — Ceres' Table, a beloved Uptown restaurant that closed last year, is reopening in Lakeview this weekend.

The Italian and Sicilian-inspired American restaurant moved into Frog N Snail's former location, 3124 N. Broadway, and will likely open for business on Saturday, a spokeswoman said.

Chef Giuseppe Scurato, his wife Carolyn Gordon and business partner Caryn Struif debuted a menu late last month with pizzas from a wood-burning oven and classics like the arancini.

It will be open on Sundays through Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. In the summer, the restaurant will start brunch on weekends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Ceres' Table had been open in Uptown for four years and made the Michelin Guide's Bib Gourmand four times. It closed in November.
