LAKEVIEW — One of Uptown's most acclaimed restaurants, which closed last year, will soon be revived in Lakeview.

Ceres' Table, an Italian and Sicilian-inspired contemporary American restaurant, will be moving into the former Frog N Snail at 3421 N. Broadway, according to a posting on the restaurant's Facebook.

Chef Giuseppe Scurato and his wife Carolyn Gordon have partnered with Caryn Struif and plan to open the restaurant in mid-April.

Ceres' Table had been open at 4882 N. Clark St. for four years and earned four Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand awards in the process. It closed in November.

With the new, larger space, Ceres' Table will now be offering more menu items, as well, including crudos, wood-fired pizza and weekend brunch, according to the site.

Scurato told Chicago magazine, which first reported the new location, that iconic menu items like the arancini will remain.
