Woman Who Robbed Uptown Bank Suspected in Three Other Cases

CHICAGO — Authorities are looking for a woman who robbed an Uptown bank Tuesday afternoon and is believed to have robbed three other banks since April.

The latest robbery occurred at 2:40 p.m. at a TCF Bank at 4355 N. Sheridan Road, according to a statement from Special Agent Joan Hyde.

The woman — who was wearing a black coat with a fur-lined hood, dark glasses and a white or cream-colored knit hat Tuesday — is also a suspect in these robberies:

TCF Bank, 5343 N. Broadway, on April 26.

• TCF Bank, 3531 N. Broadway, on May 21.

TCF Bank, 3531 N. Broadway, on Nov. 20.

The suspect is described as a black woman with dark complexion, about 35 years old and about 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7 tall.
