Grace Restaurant in West Loop Scores Five Stars from Forbes

By Chloe Riley | January 23, 2014 2:19pm

WEST LOOP — Grace, Curtis Duffy's fine-dining restaurant which opened last year, picked up a five-star rating from Forbes Travel guide, just two months after the West Loop restaurant was awarded two Michelin stars.

Grace, 652 W. Randolph St., joins the ranks of Lincoln Park's Alinea, L2O and Trump Tower's Sixteen, all of which have five stars, Forbes' highest rating category.

Early this year, Grace was also one of eight new restaurants added to the AAA's Five Diamond list, which recognizes outstanding restaurants and hotels across the U.S.

Consistency, Duffy said, is the key to Grace's virtual overnight success.

"They come in throughout the year many times, and for us it's about being consistent on a daily basis and taking that consistency and making ourselves better every single day. What happened today is great, tomorrow has to be better, and that’s always been the approach to the restaurant," Duffy told DNAinfo Chicago after Grace received its two-star Michelin rating in November.
