CHICAGO — A teenage girl who said she was sexually assaulted in Heart of Chicago Monday afternoon recanted her story, police said.

No additional information was available about why she changed her story.

The 16-year-old originally told police that she was walking along the 2300 block of West Cermak Road about 5 p.m. Monday when two men grabbed her, dragged her into an alley and sexually assaulted her.

The original report included details describing the two men that the girl said attacked her.
