LINCOLN PARK -- It's officially soup season in chilly Chicago, and roving eater Ted Brunson's got the soup scoop in his latest installment of "Good in the Hood with Ted Brunson."

The impending opening of Spicy Monkey at 2204 N. Clybourn kept mouths watering in Lincoln Park, but the wait's over.

With tasty, gluten-free soups chock full of goodies and grilled cheese sandwiches NOT like Mom makes, Spicy Monkey's got the cure for the Bears' weather chill.

For more "Good in the Hood" Check out Ted's visits to J.B.'s Deli in Andersonville, a curious deli in a pharmacy, and Jaks Tap in the West Loop, where Hawks fans can light the lamp well before game time.
