CHICAGO — A 23-year-old woman was shot in her chest on the Near West Side Sunday night, police said.
The woman walked into the emergency room at Northwestern Memorial Hospital around 9:45 p.m., said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police Department spokesman.
The victim said she had been shot in the 200 block of North Western Avenue. Her boyfriend then drove her to Northwestern, where she was listed in "good condition" Monday.
No one is in custody for the shooting.
