CHICAGO — The casting agency for "Chicago PD," a spinoff of NBC's "Chicago Fire," is looking for extras for an open casting call on Sunday, and it has a shopping list that includes "gangster types," twins, redheads and leggy people, among others.

The casting call, open to Illinois residents ages 18 and older, is scheduled for Sunday between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Near West Side's Cinespace Chicago, 2600 W. 16th St.

They're looking for tall, leggy and fashionable "model types" as well as large and imposing "gangster types," but hopefuls should hide any tattoos, Bill Marinella Casting said in a notice.

The show is also continuing to cast real police and military officers as well as real medical staff, such as EMTs, nurses and doctors, the agency said.

Twins, redheads and "little people" are also apparently in demand.

The agency will be taking photos and suggests hopefuls wear an applicable uniform, if they have it, especially if they're military personnel, EMTs or police.

Even aspiring gangsters and ladies "of-the-night" should dress in uniform, the agency said, and model-types should dress fashionably.

The agency also stressed that it's looking for extras of all kinds as well as experienced stand-ins with resumes and headshots.

Hopeful extras need to bring their measurements and two forms of Illinois ID. They can show up to the second floor of the service building anytime between 11 a.m and 3 p.m., the agency said.
