LAKEVIEW — Sleepy's is expanding into Lakeview.
The Hicksville, N.Y.-based mattress chain will open Saturday at 3216 N. Broadway, right next to the Gap, said Bill Worley, the regional manager for the company.
The new location is part of the company's aggressive expansion in the city. Lakeview's North Broadway location will be one of 18 Sleepy's to open in the Chicago area this week, with six in Chicago city limits, Worley said.
The 55-year-old company has 950 locations across the country. It prides itself on offering a variety of mattress manufacturers and having salespeople who are trained to be "mattress professionals," Worley said.
