PILSEN — Tap into your Latino pride at the 41st annual Fiesta del Sol, a free four-day outdoor festival that celebrates all things summer.

The "House of Sol," Chicago's only free outdoor DJ showcase, will feature house music figures like Lego, Stacy Kidd and T. Mixwell. Other main stage bands include Them Guilty Aces, Pedro Rivera and Los Viejones.

There'll be no shortage of Mexican food at the fest, which kicked off Thursday night, with vendors like Amy's Tacos, Taqueria La Ciudad, La Fuente and Gardenias Antojitos turning out the eats.

Local artists will have goods on display as well as arts and crafts, including porcelain-making and painting.

If you're feeling like some carnival rides, pick up a Fiesta del Sol Megapass for $60 at the Carnival ticket booth, 1400 W. Cermak Road. The festival is also raffling off four free tickets.

Cermak will be closed between Morgan Street and Ashland Avenue during the fest.

Festival hours for the rest of the weekend:

Friday, July 26, and Saturday, July 27: 11 a.m.-11 p.m.

Sunday, July 28: 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
