CHICAGO — Five people, including an 8-year-old girl and a firefighter, were injured in a three-alarm blaze in Little Village Monday afternoon.

The fire occurred in the 2400 block of South Central Park Avenue, according to the fire department.

The firefighter was injured in his hand. Three other adults were also injured, including a 29-year-old woman who suffered from smoke inhalation.

The girl, who suffers from asthma, also had smoke inhalation.
