CHICAGO — A 33-year-old Pilsen man is in custody after being charged with the death of a Cicero woman early Saturday morning.
Andrew Jones, of the 700 block of West 17th Street, was ordered held in lieu of $500,000 bail Monday.
He was charged with two felonies: aggravated driving under the influence causing an accident or death, and reckless homicide. He was also charged with a pair of misdemeanors for driving on a suspended license and having no insurance.
Chantelle Jones, 26, was killed early Saturday when after the car she was traveling in, allegedly driven by Andrew Jones, crashed into a viaduct in the 1600 block of South Western Avenue, flipping the vehicle and splitting it in two.
It's unclear what the relationship between the two is.
