CHICAGO — Police are asking for help in finding a man who they say groped a 10-year-old girl Thursday night in Albany Park.

The man followed the girl home from school in the 4900 block of North Troy Street and approached her as she entered her apartment building, police said.

He fondled her buttocks and fled northbound on Troy when she screamed, police said.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man between 20 and 35 years old, police said.

He is between 5-feet 6-inches and 5-feet 9-inches tall and weighs between 160 and 200 pounds, police said. He is clean shaven with medium-brown short hair and a light complexion.

The man was wearing a white, zippered sweatshirt with black stripes and gray pants at the time, police said.
