CHICAGO — One man is dead and another injured after a West Side shooting Saturday night, police said.
The two men were shot about 6:13 p.m. in the 2400 block of West Cicero Avenue, said Officer Veejay Zala, a police spokesman.
The victims were in a car when another car drove up. Someone got out of the second car and began firing, Zala said.
After the shooting, the other car "sped off," Zala said.
The victims drove themselves to Rush Hospital. One man, shot in the head, was dead on arrival. The other, who was shot in the arm, was in stable condition at Rush, police said.
