Lansing Man Was Killed While Playing Video Games

HUMBOLDT PARK — Devon Greer was sitting in a Humboldt Park apartment Oct. 27 when he was killed.

The 21-year-old Lansing native was playing PlayStation at about 3:40 a.m. on the first floor of the  building on the 3800 block of West August Boulevard when he was struck in the back from shots fired through a window, according to a CBS2 report.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was declared dead at 5:22 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiners office.

His family declined to comment for this story.
