CHICAGO — A man was shot and wounded in a car in Little Village Wednesday night, police said.

The 25-year-old man was driving in the 3100 block of South Pulaski Road when he heard shots ring out at about 10 p.m., according to police.

He pulled over, got out of the car to see who was shooting and heard more gunfire before he realized he'd been shot in the knee, police said. The incident might have been gang related, police said.

The victim drove himself to MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, where police said he's in good condition.

No suspects were in custody Thursday morning, according to police.
