DOWNTOWN — Former Bears player Brandon Marshall is selling his downtown Chicago penthouse for $5 million.
The 6,400-square-foot home includes two rooftop decks with views of Millennium Park and Lake Michigan; four bedrooms; 20-foot, cathedral ceilings and a wraparound terrace.
The 19th-floor penthouse used to be part of Montgomery Ward's observatory, according to Crain's, which first reported on the listing. Marshall attempted to sell the home for $6 million last year but didn't find a buyer. He was renting it for $19,000 a month before this listing.
Marshall was a wide receiver with the Bears from 2012 to 2014, but now plays in New York for the Giants. Marshall was traded just a year after buying the home for $3.9 million in 2013, according to Crain's.
