CHICAGO — A person was pinned under a train at the Clark/Division Red Line station during the Tuesday afternoon rush hour, fire officials said.
The woman or girl was struck by a southbound train. The incident occurred at 4:30 p.m., according to CTA officials.
Red Line trains were rerouted while crews got the person out. She has since been sent to a nearby hospital.
Red Line service is resuming its normal routing, via the subway, btwn Fullerton & Cermak after an earlier reroute.
