LOGAN SQUARE — Construction on the highly anticipated — and long-stalled — "Bixi" Brewpub from Owen & Engine chef Bo Fowler has ramped up lately.

Earlier this week, crews started installing the rooftop patio, which will be the neighborhood's first when it debuts.

While it's unclear when the brewpub will finally open (Fowler didn't respond to requests for comment), it could be relatively soon, if her recent Instagram photos are any indication.

Back in 2015, the idea was to serve both large and shareable plates of Asian-inspired and fusion food like Italian beef soup dumplings to a late-night crowd. Bixi is named after a Chinese turtle-like mythical figure.

No word yet on whether plans have changed.
