CHICAGO — A shooting on the Downtown Riverwalk wounded two men early Sunday, police said.
At 2:04 a.m., the victims were arguing with several men in the first block of West River Walk when shots were fired, police said. The incident was not a random act, police said, but was related to a fight about a woman.
A 30-year-old man was hit in his left foot and a 28-year-old man was hit in his right leg. They were taken to Northwestern Hospital, where their conditions were not available, but they were listed as "stable," police said.
The men were documented gang members, a police source said.
No one was in custody, but police were reviewing surveillance video of the incident.
