CHICAGO — The Jefferson Park Sunday Market will kick off the summer season with its first regular outdoor farmers market of the year this weekend.

The pop-up bazaar will surround the Esdohr House, 4820 N. Long Ave., from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m., returning on the second and fourth Sunday of every month through the end of October.

The 15 vendors lined up for the market will include meat and produce purveyors like Finn's Ranch, Frank Farms and Six Generations.

In addition to local standbys like Spark of the Heart and Perkolator Cafe, the market will see at least one newcomer in the vegan bakery Holcomb Hollow.

Meanwhile, those who want a pre-cooked bite can grab a crepe from Magic Circle, or a Mexican treat from Tamales Express.

The folk music duo Tell Em Henry is lined up to perform throughout the event Sunday.
