BRIDGEPORT — Punk Rock and Donuts returns to the neighborhood on Jan. 28.

The neighborhood's annual punk show at the Richard J. Daley Library, 3400 S. Halsted St., is set for 2 p.m. The day's lineup includes three Chicago punk acts: Negative Scanner, Daylight Robbery and S#!^izen!

Have a listen to the bands playing Saturday:

Jackalope Coffee & Tea House will provide coffee and donuts.

The idea behind Punk Rock and Donuts is to give neighborhood kids a safe place to catch a show at a reasonable time of day, according to Jeremy Kitchen, the library's manager.
