DOWNTOWN — Bundle up and prepare for cold weather this week.

Temperatures will only get as high as the teens Wednesday through Saturday, said Amy Seeley, a National Weather Service meteorologist. When they drop, they'll hit the single digits.

Even worse: Wind will make it feel as cold as 10 below zero on Wednesday and Thursday, Seeley said.

There could also be a light snow Thursday, but Seeley said she's not expecting to see even a half-inch.

The sudden bout of cold — after days of relatively warm weather — comes thanks to an Arctic air mass making its way from Canada, Seeley said.
