Logan Square Shooting Wounds 2 Men, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting on the border of Logan Square and Avondale wounded two men late Wednesday, police said.

At 11:28 p.m., the men were getting into a car int he 3400 block of West Diversey Avenue when four men walked up to them and fired shots, police said.

A 23-year-old man was hit in his right arm and a 24-year-old man was hit in his left leg, police said. They were taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where their conditions were not available but they were listed as "stable," police said.

The men were documented gang members, police said.

No one was in custody.
