By Kelly Bauer | August 13, 2016 8:29am

CHICAGO — A shooting in Logan Square left a man dead and a woman wounded on Friday night, police said.

At 11:35 p.m., the 30-year-old man and 26-year-old woman were driving in the 3300 block of West North Avenue when they stopped at a red light, a car pulled up and someone inside shot at them, police said.

The man was hit in his head and the woman was hit in her left leg. They were taken to Stroger Hospital, where the man was pronounced dead. The woman's condition was not available but she was listed as "stable," police said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Luis Carrasquillo, of the 4800 block of West Wellington Avenue.

He was a documented gang member, police said, and the shooting appears to be gang-related.

No one was in custody.
