UPTOWN — This weekend the neighborhood will be buzzing with family-friendly events.

Here is our list of six things to do in the neighborhood for residents of all ages:

Graceland West Garden Walk: The 34th annual Graceland West Garden Walk will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Brochures for the tour and gardening literature will be available at the starting point, 4334 N. Greenview Ave. Attendees will also be able to ask a master gardener questions and enjoy an insect petting zoo. 4334 N. Greenview Ave. Free.

Check Out a New Restaurant: Last Friday, Seafood Hot pot opened on Argyle Street after a seven month wait, but the all-you-can-eat seafood joint will officially host its grand opening Friday. For more details on the restaurant click here. 1130 W. Argyle St. 11 a.m. -11:30 p.m.

Uptown Music and Art Festival: Sheridan Park will play host to a number of events Saturday including a music and art festival and a massive yard sale. The music festival will feature performances from Andrew Maoczkowski at 10:15 a.m., Eric Funkhouser at 11:30 a.m., Ron Lowy at 12:45 p.m. and Aaron Morales at 2 p.m. For more details, click here. Watch A Movie in Clarendon Park: The Chicago Park District will set up the big screen in Clarendon Park for residents to watch "Insurgent," the second film in the "Divergent" series starring Shailene Woodley and Theo James. The movie runs 119 minutes and is rated PG-13. Friday. 4501 N. Clarendon Ave. 8 p.m. Free.

Karaoke For Kids: The Bezazian Branch of the Chicago Public Library will host a karaoke party suitable for preschoolers and toddlers Saturday afternoon. 2 p.m. - 5p.m. 1226 W. Ainslie St. Free.

Grand Opening For Mind Body Defense: Friday, Mind Body Defense will celebrate its new Uptown space with a grand opening and open house. "Mind Body Defense uses self defense and kickboxing as a vehicle to unlock the human potential of the modern professional" and was created for people seeking to improve "their fitness through purposeful action," according to a flyer for the event. Friday. 6 - 9 p.m. 4143 N. Broadway. Free.
