Humboldt Park Hit-And-Run Critically Injures 19-Year-Old Woman, Police Say

CHICAGO — Police are looking for the driver in a hit-and-run that seriously injured a 19-year-old woman on Saturday.

At 3:45 p.m. June 18, the woman was riding a motorized scooter in the 3200 block of West Crystal Avenue when a man driving a car hit her, according to a Chicago Police community alert. The man drove away after the accident.

The woman was taken to Stroger Hospital, where she was in critical condition, police said.

The driver was a Hispanic man in his late 20s and there were three other Hispanic men in the late 20s in the car, police said. They car was a 2003-2005 Chrysler Sebring that was beige or tan and had Illinois license plates, police said.
