EDGEBROOK — 39th Ward Ald. Margaret Laurino and 41st Ward Ald. Anthony Napolitano will discuss the state of their wards at an event hosted by the Edgebrook Community Association.

The event is scheduled to take place at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Edgebrook branch of the Chicago Public Library, 5331 W. Devon Ave.

Laurino has represented the 39th Ward — which includes Sauganash and parts of Edgebrook North Park, Hollywood Park, Mayfair, Edgebrook, Gladstone Park, Forest Glen and Old Irving Park — since 1994.

Napolitano, who was a Chicago Police officer and a Chicago firefighter, was elected to the City Council a year ago. The 41st Ward includes parts of Edgebrook, Norwood Park, Edison Park and O'Hare.

The event is designed to give Edgebrook residents a chance to ask the aldermen questions about their neighborhood, their block, the Edgebrook business district and their ideas for the future of the area, organizers said.

Questions for the aldermen can be sent via email to talk2eca@gmail.com. Questions will also be accepted in writing before the meeting, organizers said.
