LINCOLN PARK — The Lincoln Pak Conservancy is seeking volunteers to give tours of the neighborhood's outdoor "treasures."

The docents will give free public tours of the conservancy and the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

To become a docent, volunteers must register by March 26.

Volunteers are also required to attend training sessions on six Saturday mornings with area experts to learn about horticulture, wildlife and the history of the neighborhood. The first training session is scheduled for April 2.

"It is a great opportunity to learn more about nature and to meet visitors from around the world," the conservancy said in a prepared statement.

For more information, contact Rebecca Conant, programs manager for the Lincoln Park Conservancy, at 773-883-7275 or info@lincolnparkconservancy.org.
