NORTHERLY ISLAND — Three staples of classic rock are playing a show together this summer at Northerly Island.

Cheap Trick, Heart, and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts will play July 19 at the FirstMerit Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, 1300 S. Linn White Drive.

The "Rock Hall Three For All" show is part of a 30-plus date tour across the country between the three bands.

Tickets to the general public will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22 and will range from $25.75 to $99.75.

All three bands are mainstays on classic rock FM stations, but Cheap Trick has a local connection: Rick Nielsen, its frontman, is an investor in Piece Brewery & Pizzeria in Wicker Park.
