In Little Village, a 36-year-old man was shot while sitting outside on Saturday and later died.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 5:30 a.m. Sunday, a 55-year-old woman was shot while answering her door in the 6700 block of South Oakley Avenue in Chicago Lawn, said Officer Janel Sedevic, Chicago Police spokeswoman. The woman was shot in her shoulder and abdomen, and two men were seen running away, Sedevic said.

The woman was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, Sedevic said.

• At 4:20 a.m., a 25-year-old man was found shot in Englewood, Sedevic said. Police found the man in a parked car with multiple gunshot wounds in his body near 60th and Laflin streets. The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.

• At 6:15 p.m. Saturday, a 16-year-old was injured in a shooting in Austin, Sedevic said. The teen was on the street in the 5200 block of West Adams Street when two black men wearing face masks emerged from an alley and fired at him, hitting him in his left leg, Sedevic said.

The teen was taken to West Suburban Hospital, where he was in good condition, Sedevic said.

The teen is a documented gang member, police said.

• At 4:30 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot during an apparent armed robbery in Bronzeville, Sedevic said. The man was in the 3800 block of South Ellis Avenue when he was shot in his abdomen.
